Rawan Al-Kharboosh, PhD

Rawan Al-Kharboosh, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of AtPoint tx, a position they have held since May 2022. Rawan is also a WIn Fellow at the Atlantic Council, starting in March 2022 and expected to continue until March 2023. Additionally, Rawan worked as a Strategic Consultant for the Saudi FDA from October 2022 to January 2023.

Rawan Al-Kharboosh, PhD started their education by earning a B.S. degree in Public Health from The George Washington University, where they followed a pre-med track. Rawan then pursued a master's degree in Tumor Biology at Georgetown University from 2011 to 2012. Rawan later enrolled in The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a PhD student in Cellular and Molecular Medicine, finishing their studies in 2016.

Rawan further expanded their research and knowledge by attending the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. From 2017 to 2021, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience. Additionally, during the same period, they took part in the Regenerative Sciences Training Program (RSTP) at Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
