Nuwan Chameera Gunawardana

Nuwan Chameera Gunawardana has a diverse work experience in the field of product management, software quality assurance, and team leadership. Nuwan Chameera started their career in 2007 as a Trainee Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Navantis, where they gained experience in manual testing and test case execution. In 2008, they joined IronOne Technologies LLC as a Software Quality Engineer, working on projects in various technologies. Nuwan Chameera progressed to the role of Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they also engaged in customer onboarding and integration activities.

In 2012, Gunawardana became an Associate Team Lead at IronOne Technologies and handled a back-office project for the Colombo Stock Market in Sri Lanka. Nuwan Chameera was responsible for gathering, analyzing, and delivering business requirements. In 2014, they were promoted to the role of Team Lead, where they led a team in completing a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Colombo Stock Exchange and successfully completed data migrations for new clients.

Gunawardana's role then transitioned to product management, starting in 2016 as an Associate Product Manager for the ATrad BackOffice project. Nuwan Chameera managed a team, conducted demos and product walkthroughs, and handled monthly development sprints as a scrum master. In 2018, they were promoted to Product Manager, where they also took on the responsibility of product road mapping for ATrad BackOffice.

In 2020, Gunawardana was promoted to Senior Product Manager, overseeing the ATrad product and conducting demos, trainings, and product walkthroughs. Most recently, they have been working as an Associate Director of Product & Delivery at IronOne Technologies, providing strategic direction and overseeing product and delivery operations.

Gunawardana's current role is also associated with ATrad, where they hold the position of Associate Director of Product & Delivery. ATrad is Sri Lanka's leading platform for online stock trading and stock broker back office solutions. Gunawardana plays a crucial role in ensuring the platform's reliability, quality standards, and market share in the Colombo Stock Exchange.
