Cale Reid

Head of Technical Product Management at Atria Institute

Cale Reid has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. In 2009, they worked as a Cabin Leader at Edwards YMCA Camp, where they led activities and fostered team building. From 2011 to 2014, Reid served as a University Ambassador and later as a Project Manager at California Polytechnic State University, managing the Alumni Discovery Project. They then joined the Public Library of Science as a Publications Assistant and later as a Research Associate, where they reviewed submissions and optimized processes. In 2016, Reid became a Project Coordinator and later a Project Manager at Fred Hutch's Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination, managing cross-functional project execution. They joined 23andMe in 2018 as a Project Manager for clinical trial recruitment and the development of new EHR product features. At Flatiron Health from 2019 to 2022, Reid held roles as a Technical Program Manager and Product Manager, focusing on improving reliability and productivity. Most recently, they have been the Platform Product Manager at Salvo Health, leading the design and launch of virtual specialty medicine clinics. In 2023, they will join Atria Institute as the Head of Technical Product Management.

Cale Reid holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In addition to their academic achievements, Cale has obtained several certifications including being a Section4 Product Strategist, a Certified Incident Responder from PagerDuty, a Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), a Certified Solutions Architect - Associate also from AWS, and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance.
