Janish Jay Patel

Janish Jay Patel, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the medical field. Their most recent position is as the Perioperative Medical Director at Levine Children's Hospital, and they also serve as the Chief of Anesthesiology and Vice Chief of Anesthesiology at Atrium Health's Central Division. Prior to this, they worked as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Scope Anesthesia of North Carolina, PLLC. Janish Jay also has experience at Children's National Hospital, where they held multiple roles including Medical Director of the Pre-Operative Care Center, Assistant Professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology, and Associate Medical Director of the Pre-Operative Care Center. Additionally, Dr. Patel co-founded and served as President of Sedation-MD, a mobile sedation solution for office-based anesthesia. Janish Jay completed their residency in Anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic.
