Derek Marciniak

Derek Marciniak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Derek currently holds the position of Vice President Finance - West Region at Atrium Hospitality since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sage Hospitality Group from 2014 to 2022, where they held various roles including Area Director of Finance and Accounting, Director of Finance and Accounting, Corporate Director of Operations Finance, and Manager of Operations Finance. Derek'sresponsibilities at Sage Hospitality Group included leading the hotel through contingency plans, partnering with ownership on complex development structures, and implementing efficient accounting processes. Before joining Sage Hospitality Group, Derek had roles at Marriott International as a Senior Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting, Marriott Vacation Club International as an Assistant Controller, Ritz-Carlton as a Staff Accountant and Night Auditor, Eagle Golf in a Pro Shop/Banquets role, and Circuit City as a Sales Associate.

Derek Marciniak has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from the University of Colorado Denver, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Hotel Management from Johnson & Wales University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
