Charlene Lake has extensive experience in corporate social responsibility and sustainability, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Chief Sustainability Officer at AT&T since 1986. Lake holds prominent positions on the boards of various non-profit organizations, including serving as the current chair of Kansas State University Foundation and having previously chaired the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the National Public Affairs Council, and the public issues committee of Baylor Scott and White Health. Prior to these roles, Lake worked in marketing and communications at Clarke American and as a reporter at Topeka Capital-Journal. Lake earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University in 1983.
