Torsten Hoffmann, P.Eng. began their work experience as an Agricultural Labourer at Holzinger Farm in 2007 before moving on to roles such as Senior Development Engineer at GIGATRONIK, Software Engineer at Schaeffler, and Senior Development Engineer at Z+F GmbH. Torsten then took on positions at Kraut Works, Inc. as Owner and Project Manager, and at PermaCorp Group of Companies Inc. as Head of Industrial Design and subsequently as Operations Manager in Southern AB. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at ACAMP as Mechatronics Product & Production Lead Engineer, engaging in projects such as electromechanical design and the design of an automated fabric filter cutting machine. Currently, Torsten is the Test Automation Lead Engineer at Attabotics Inc.

Torsten Hoffmann, P.Eng. earned their B. Sc. / Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Mechatronic, Robotics and Automation from the University of Applied Sciences Bochum in Germany from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including their P.Eng from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in 2019.
