Dimitra Vourna

Dimitra Vourna has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dimitra is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Attica Bank since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at HSBC for several years, holding positions such as Country Chief Operating Officer in Greece, Head of Operations for the European Region, and Country Head of Operations in Greece. Dimitra also served as a Product Manager, Propositions Manager, and Sales Professional in retail banking during their time at HSBC. Before joining HSBC, they worked as a Distribution Manager at Piraeus Bank and conducted research at the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.

Dimitra Vourna has an extensive education history. Dimitra completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business from 1994 to 1998. In 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Professional MBA with a focus on Marketing-Management from Alba Graduate Business School.

In 2014 to 2015, Dimitra participated in a Chief Operating Officer Foundation course at the University of Cambridge. In 2021, they further enhanced their skills by completing a program on Leading Businesses and Functions at the London Business School.

Currently, Dimitra is pursuing an Executive degree in Organizational Leadership from CEDEP - Executive Development in Fontainebleau, a program they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2022.
