Colin Tew

Colin Tew has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Colin started their career in 2010 as a Sales Associate/ Manager Trainee/ 2nd Assistant Manager at Big 5 Sporting Goods. In 2015, they became a Technical Recruiter at Internet Brands, where they were responsible for recruiting engineering, IT, design, product, and administrative positions across multiple subsidiaries.

Colin then worked as a VC Recruiter at K1 Investment Management for a year before joining ClubLabs in 2018 as a Technical Recruiter. At ClubLabs, they focused on hiring for a range of positions, including Frontend, Backend, Mobile, QA, Product Management, and UX Research and Design.

In 2019, Colin moved to Honey as a Technical Recruiter, supporting the engineering organization. Colin continued in this role until PayPal acquired Honey in January 2020. After the acquisition, they transitioned to PayPal and worked as a Senior Technical Recruiter, mainly supporting technical hiring for PayPal's Crypto business vertical (BCDC). In addition to technical roles, they also supported hiring for marketing, finance, risk and compliance, due diligence, and investigation positions.

Most recently, Colin worked at Superhuman as a Senior Technical Recruiter. Superhuman is a productivity B2C/B2B SaaS email and collaboration platform. During their time there, they hired senior to management-level engineering roles across different domains, such as Fullstack, Mobile, Backend/Platform, QA, and also Senior to Lead Product Management roles.

In 2023, Colin joined Atticus as a Senior Recruiter.

Colin Tew obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, from 2009 to 2014.
