Christian Ponte

Christian Ponte is an experienced music educator and entrepreneur. Since August 2016, Christian has served as a Music Teacher at Atwood Heights School District #125. As the Founder and CEO of Tanooki Studios since September 2015, Christian leads a creative firm. Additionally, Christian has held the role of Director and Editor-in-Chief at The Tanooki since December 2006, overseeing various aspects of an online news site. As a Marching Band Instructor for the Stagg Marching Chargers at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School since July 2005, Christian provides music and marching instruction. Previous teaching experience includes serving as a Student Teacher for band programs at Victor J. Andrew High School and Liberty Jr. High School. Christian also contributed as a Web Designer/Webmaster for MENC Chapter #164 from September 2006 to May 2009. Christian holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2009.
