Andrea Cubitt

Andrea Cubitt is the current VP of External Scientific Alliances & Intellectual Property at aTyr Pharma. Andrea has over 15 years of experience in the field of intellectual property. Andrea has a long history of working in the biotech industry, starting their career in 1996 as Intellectual Property Manager at Aurora Biosciences Inc. Andrea then went on to become the Director of Intellectual Property at X-Ceptor Therapeutics from 2000 to 2003. In 2004, Andrea co-founded Ambit Biosciences, where they served as Director of Intellectual Property until 2005. Andrea then took on the role of Cofounder and VP Business Development at AnaptysBio, Inc from 2005 to 2009. Andrea has been with aTyr Pharma since 2009 and has held their current position since 2014.

Andrea Cubitt has a Ph.D. from The University of Sheffield and a Bsc. in Medical Biochemistry from University of Birmingham.
