Marcelle Couto

Marcelle Couto is an accomplished individual currently serving as a Mentor for Notre Dame Vision at the McGrath Institute for Church Life since May 2024. In addition to this role, Marcelle has been an integral part of The Observer - Notre Dame & Saint Mary's since September 2021, contributing as a Production Staff member, Writer, and Copyeditor, where over 30 articles have been authored and a collaborative editorial process has been streamlined. Other notable experiences include serving as a Student Employee at Au Bon Pain and working as an Academic Tutor for student-athletes, enhancing academic success through individualized support. Marcelle has also engaged with the Alumni Association's Reunion Welcome Team and provided customer service as a Help Desk Support Specialist for alumni. Additional experience includes work as a Journalism Assistant at the Religion and Literature Journal and as a Library Assistant at Hesburgh Libraries. Marcelle is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Program of Liberal Studies and Theology at the University of Notre Dame, expected to graduate in May 2025.
