Ali Tayyar is a dedicated research assistant at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at AUB, collaborating with Dr. Asghar Aryanfar on multi-physics and chemistry methods for energy storage applications since February 2022. As the founder of Ali Crafts and More since March 2019, Ali demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, Ali serves as treasurer for the Students for Sustainable Energy for All (SSEA) at AUB, overseeing sustainable building projects and leading initiatives like solar shading films on engineering buildings. Involvement with ASME includes roles as Head of Professional Development and as a team member, fostering professional growth within the AUB section. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the American University of Beirut, with an exchange program at Boston University, Ali's educational background includes a Lebanese baccalaureate from Iman High School.
