Dana Barker

Dana Barker is a seasoned meteorologist and technical support analyst with extensive experience in broadcasting and technology. Currently serving as a part-time/fill-in meteorologist for WALB-TV and as a digital/fill-in meteorologist for WTVM News Leader 9, Dana combines expertise in meteorology with digital content creation. Dana also holds the position of Senior Technical Support Analyst at Auburn University, collaborating with internal IT teams and third-party vendors. Previous roles include digital meteorologist for Tiger Communications, director of communications for Macon Mayhem, and software analyst at TSYS, among others. Dana possesses degrees in Applied Meteorology, Communication, and Geosciences from Mississippi State University and Columbus State University.
