Deng Chen

Deng (Carson) Chen has a strong background in business development and strategic planning. Deng (Carson) started their career at the University of Otago as a Research Fellow and Assistant Project Manager. Deng (Carson) then worked at RealNZ, where they held several roles including International Sales Manager for Asia and Senior Management Adviser for Strategic Planning and Partnership. Chen also had a role at Auckland Airport as the SVP Business Development Greater China. More recently, they worked at Journey Beyond as the China Market Chief Project Consultant. Deng (Carson) also served as an External Consultant at AIC (Aerotropolis Institute China).

Deng (Carson) Chen has a Master of Entrepreneurship degree in International Management from the University of Otago, which was obtained from 2004 to 2005. Deng (Carson) also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Asian Business Management and Communication from the same university, earned from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Digital Marketing Strategy from Harvard Extension School and Dynamic Pricing and Revenue Management from IATA Training in 2018 and 2017 respectively.
