Toni Giacon

Toni Giacon has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. They have held the position of Head of Regional Operations at Auckland Council since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Partnerships at Te Papa Atawhai/Department of Conservation from 2019 to 2022. From 2015 to 2019, Toni served as the Manager of Governance Relations at Panuku Development Auckland, where they led a team of senior advisors and maintained relationships with various stakeholders. Before that, they managed a team responsible for key property functions at Auckland Council Property Limited from 2011 to 2015. Toni also has experience as the director of their own company, Giacon Concrete & Terrazzo, from 2009 to 2011. They started their career as a solicitor at Law North Limited in 2008 and worked in various roles at Auckland City Council, including solicitor, property analyst, and property manager, from 2004 to 2008.

Toni Giacon attended the University of Otago from 1993 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree in the fields of Law and Arts.
