General Manager Education & Innovation at Auckland Kindergarten Association

Amanda-Lanuola Dunlop, PhD, currently serves as the General Manager Education & Innovation at the Auckland Kindergarten Association since July 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda-Lanuola held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Vaka Tautua: Pacific Health, Disability & Social Services from August 2019 to April 2022. Amanda-Lanuola has also contributed to the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade as a Senior Adviser for Pacific Research from April 2017 to July 2019 and worked as a Consultant from March 2007 to March 2017. Other significant roles include Manager of Research & Evaluation (Pacific Health) at The University of Auckland from August 2009 to July 2011, Manager of the Let's Beat Diabetes Strategy at Counties Manukau District Health Board from May 2004 to February 2007, and Senior Policy Analyst at the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs from March 2002 to May 2004. Amanda-Lanuola holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Community Health from The University of Auckland and a Master of Arts (MA Applied) in Social Sciences from Victoria University of Wellington.
