Chris Cates has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as the General Manager of MAX @ Mirabeau at Mirabeau Park Hotel. In this role, they successfully led projects that resulted in a 50+ libation menu with an ROI of $200,000/year and music entertainment with an ROI of $200,000/year. Chris consistently met labor goals of less than 15% for a staff of 50 people and increased sales by 5% year over year. Additionally, they effectively managed relationships with over 20 vendors. From 2011 to 2014, they owned and operated Eau de Vie Wine Bar & Shoppe. Chris then transitioned to PAML as an IT Project Manager/Analyst from 2014 to 2017. Currently, since 2017, Chris has been working at Auction Edge, Inc. as an Agile Project Manager/Analyst and later as a Development Manager/Product Owner.
Chris Cates, CSM, CSPO attended Red River High School from 1994 to 1997 and obtained a High School Diploma. Chris then pursued their higher education at the University of North Dakota from 1997 to 2000. During their time at the University, Chris studied Business Administration and Management, focusing on the general field.
