Tielman Botha

Tielman Botha has a diverse and extensive work experience in various technology and engineering roles. Tielman began their career at Alcatel Altech Telecoms as an Assistant Chief Engineer before moving on to work as a Principal Engineer at Panasonic Mobile Communications. Tielman then joined Infineon Technology and Agere Systems as a SW Engineering Project Manager, involved in mobile chipset design. Tielman also worked as an Engineering Manager at Nokia Mobile Phones.

In 2011, they joined Accenture UK as a Mobility Solution Architect, and later became the Head of Mobility for Accenture South Africa in 2013. During their time at Accenture, they built up the mobility practice in South Africa and worked on projects related to mobile strategy, applications, and IoT.

From 2015 to 2017, Tielman served as the Associate Director and Head of Digital at PwC South Africa. In this role, they focused on digital transformation projects for banking and insurance clients, as well as IOT and software innovation strategy.

Subsequently, Tielman became the Director at dconomi in 2017 before joining Audet Magna in 2018 as a Partner and CTO.

Tielman Botha obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stellenbosch University between 1988 and 1993.
