Jaco Meintjes

Jaco Meintjes is an experienced audit professional with a strong track record in managing audit compliance and leading audit teams. Currently serving as an Audit Manager at Audit New Zealand since January 2016, Jaco is responsible for ensuring audits are completed in accordance with professional standards while mentoring less experienced staff. Jaco has previously held the position of Assurance Manager at McHale Group and Audit Manager at the Auditor-General of South Africa, where responsibilities included auditing multiple government departments, leading teams, and working on significant international projects, including audits for the World Health Organisation. Jaco's educational background includes a CPA qualification from CPA Australia, a Certificate in Forensic Accounting & Fraud Examination from the University of Pretoria, and a National Diploma in Internal Auditing from Tshwane University of Technology.
