Adrian Crompton has served as Auditor General for Wales and CEO of Audit Wales since July 2018. In addition to this role, Adrian has been an Associate with Global Partners Governance since 2014, providing expert advice to political figures and institutions in Sudan, Iraq, Egypt, and Jordan. From 1999 to 2018, Adrian held the position of Director of Assembly Business at the National Assembly for Wales, where responsibilities included advising the Llywydd and leading various support services. Prior experience includes a role in the House of Commons Research Service from 1988 to 1999, focusing on providing impartial statistical research for Members of Parliament. Adrian Crompton earned a degree from the University of Bath between 1983 and 1987.
