Jan van Schalkwyk

Jan van Schalkwyk is currently serving as an Executive in the Auditor-General of South Africa since January 1997. Jan coordinates various responsibilities within the office, including oversight of international engagements, administration, and governance activities. Jan is involved in audit operations, training programs, and professionalization initiatives. Additionally, Jan holds roles in INTOSAI matters, acting as the SAI SA representative and contributing to various task forces and committees. Prior to their current position, Jan gained experience at Deloitte South Africa where Jan worked as a Trainee Auditor, Audit Manager, and Consultant. Jan holds a B Com (Hons) CTA degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Pretoria.
