Steve Robbins has held a variety of roles in the software industry since 1997. Theircareer began at GNI Ltd (now Old Mutual) where they served as Lead Developer for both the Trading Systems and Back Office teams. In 2001, they worked as Lead Developer for Back Office at Enron before founding DevPower Solutions Ltd, where they developed .Net components in C#. Steve then joined OD2/Loudeye as Senior Developer/Technical Lead and was promoted to Chief Architect, Nokia Music after the company was acquired by Nokia in 2007. In 2014, they were promoted to Chief Architect, Devices Entertainment at Microsoft and then to CTO at MixRadio in 2015. In 2016, they co-founded Audiogum and served as CTO. In 2020, they were appointed Head of Software at Bowers & Wilkins, where they created and led a new software team. Steve was responsible for architecture and execution of cloud, app and embedded software. In 2021, they became CTO at Audoo.
Steve Robbins attended the University of Hertfordshire from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a BSc Hons Computing Mathematics degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
