James Sturges

James Sturges has a wide range of work experience, starting in 2008 as a Mac Specialist at Apple, where they helped open a brand new Apple Store on Boylston Street in Boston. James then moved on to WERS 88.9 FM, where they held the roles of Creative Director and Assistant Program Director. In 2009, they became a Software QA Analyst & Release Manager, Client Services Manager at Sonicbids. In 2012, they were accepted into the Microsoft Virtual Technology Specialist Program (V-TSP). From 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Legendary Entertainment. In 2018, they co-founded Audseb, Inc. and became the VP Product at AskHR - A.I. Virtual Assistants for HR. In 2019, they took on the roles of Director and Principal in software engineering at Slalom Build and Advisor at Fortifyedge.

James Sturges obtained a BA in Communication and Media Studies from Emerson College. James has also obtained various certifications from Aryng, Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft. These include an Analytical Aptitude Assessment from Aryng in 2018, a Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer from Google in 2023, an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) from AWS in 2019, an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C01) from AWS in 2019, an AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, Second Edition from AWS in 2019, a Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) from Microsoft in 2019, a TS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring (70-667) from Microsoft in 2011, and a PRO: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Administrator (70-668) from Microsoft in 2011.
