Ithar Waleed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ithar is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of AudtEye, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at eyewa from September 2017 to November 2019 as a Marketing Manager. In this role, they focused on establishing a successful influencer marketing team and developing business relationships with key influencers in the MENA region. Their efforts resulted in eyewa collaborating with over 2000 influencers and achieving ambitious ROI goals, contributing directly to the company's growth.
Before joining eyewa, Ithar worked at Clique Interactive, where they held the roles of Copywriter from July 2015 to January 2016 and Social Media Executive from July 2014 to January 2016. Additionally, they served as a Social Media Editor at Abu Dhabi Media from April 2013 to December 2013.
Ithar's earlier experiences include working as a Media Relations Coordinator - Contributor at Sharjah International Book Fair in November 2012, where they welcomed and assisted journalists, covered literary programs, and supported the editorial team with book signing schedules. Ithar also worked as a Researcher and Writer at Forbes Middle East from June 2012 to July 2012, collaborating with the research team and assisting the editing department in writing, editing, and translating magazine profiles.
Ithar Waleed completed the Digital Marketing Certification program at NUS Business School Executive Education in 2021. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Master's of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Wollongong. Ithar obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Sharjah, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
