Fredrick Cook

Fredrick Cook has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Fredrick currently holds the position of Vice Chair at Cyber Pathways. Prior to this, they worked at August Schell as a Director of Risk Management Programs and as a Consulting Engineer. Before that, they held various roles at DISA, including Endpoint Security Branch Chief, Cyber Directorate Cybersecurity Lead, and Information Assurance Manager. Fredrick also worked at ITT Information Systems as an Alternate Information Assurance Manager/Cyber Security Analyst and at Apptis as a Principal Engineer. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Ciena as a Senior Engineer, Qwest Government Services Inc as a Senior Engineer, Cable & Wireless as a Principal Engineer/Manager, and AT&T Local Services Inc as a Lead Technician.

Fredrick Cook attended the University of Maryland Global Campus but it is unclear when they started or finished their studies. Fredrick has obtained certifications in Information Security, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in January 2009, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 in August 2008.
