Mike Bastian

Mike Bastian serves as the Director of Purchasing & Contracts at Cassia since its formation in 2019, following a long tenure at Augustana Care, where the role of Corporate Director of Purchasing was held since October 2005. Bastian specializes in securing and negotiating purchasing contracts, managing vendor relations for 66 facilities, and overseeing supply budgets and contracts. Responsibilities include facilitating Group Purchasing Organization programs, project management for large renovations, and procurement for new startups and acquisitions. Bastian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Loras College, earned between 1999 and 2001.
