Michael Sass

Michael Sass began their career in 2006 as a Server at Carrabba's Italian Grill. In 2010, they joined Augustine Consulting, Inc. as a Software Engineer III. In this role, they were responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a geospatial mapping solution for generating and caching tactical map imagery using commercially available and classified imagery sources. Michael also designed, developed, and maintained a mission data management suite allowing for the creation, conversion, and provision of critical mission-specific data products in the field. Additionally, they were responsible for ensuring interoperability between Nett Warrior mission data products/planning software and other currently fielded 3rd party dismounted soldier situational awareness systems. Michael also worked as part of a larger team developing task-specific Android applications designed to enhance Nett Warrior user operation and improve soldier effectiveness in the field. In 2011, they were promoted to Software Integration and Test Engineer.

Michael Sass completed a B.S. Software Engineering in Video Game Programming and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Software Engineering from the University of Advancing Technology between 2006 and 2010.
