Drea Tomlinson

Drea Tomlinson currently serves as a Writing Center Tutor at California State University, Long Beach, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Drea has been involved with the Augustine Literacy Project-Charlotte since February 2022, taking on roles as Deployment Coordinator and Site Coordinator. Experience at Fullerton College from January 2018 to January 2022 includes serving as a Training Facilitator, Academic Tutor, and Writing Center Tutor. In addition, Drea worked as an After School Tutor at Tree of Knowledge between January and December 2021. Drea holds a Master of Fine Arts in English Language and Literature from California State University, Long Beach, expected in May 2025, a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from California State University, Fullerton, completed in December 2021, and an Associate of Arts in English Language and Literature from Fullerton College, earned in December 2019. Education began at Temecula Valley High School, culminating in a high school diploma in June 2017.
