Oskar Levin

Oskar Levin has a long and varied work experience. Oskar began their career in 2011 as an intern at Skånetrafiken, where they installed, upgraded, and managed virtual environments and other systems, and wrote small scripts. In the same year, they also worked as an IT Technician at C4 Energi, taking care of all systems when the IT Manager was on vacation and providing IT support in the office. In 2012, they were an intern at Bredband i Kristianstad, where they installed and upgraded hardware and software, debugged network equipment, computers, and VoIP, and conducted work on communication equipment. That same year, they worked at P1/Tantan as a DevOps Engineer, mainly taking care of network and servers in production, development, and staging environments, deployments, IT support in the office, architectural design of the product, troubleshooting bugs and other issues, automation, scripting, etc. In 2015, they were promoted to Director of DevOps at P1/Tantan, responsible for technology and staff in the DevOps team and managing the team, including short and long term planning, kanban, risk analysis, security, staff training, hiring, team building, budgeting, cost optimization and conflict management. In 2018, they worked at Waterdrop as a DevOps Architect, taking part in designing, building, testing, and improving solutions for running the company's Java/Spring Boot based applications in Kubernetes. Oskar also built the monitoring and alerting system from scratch based on InfluxDB and trained the staff to use it. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Lalamove as an Infra/DevOps Team Lead and Senior DevOps Engineer. Finally, in 2021, they joined Auki Labs as Head of Shipping & Reliability and Lead Site Reliability Engineer, building advanced peer-to-peer positioning protocols and AR cloud infrastructure to enable a new era of spatial computing.

Oskar Levin attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2014, where they studied Data & Computer Communications. From 2009 to 2012, they attended JB Hässleholm, where they obtained a High School Degree in Information Technology. In February 2021, they obtained a Certified Incident Responder certification from PagerDuty.
