Genevieve Jaser

Genevieve Jaser has a diverse work experience history. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at the Academic Success Center at SCSU as a Writing Specialist. In this role, they led a team of tutors, managed administrative tasks, collected and recorded academic data, and provided one-on-one tutoring to students in various areas of English and writing.

From 2019 to 2020, Genevieve served as the Director of Programming at SCSU TV, where they likely managed the programming schedule and ensured smooth operations.

In 2018, they worked as the Features Editor at Crescent Magazine, and from 2020 to 2021, they held the position of Editor In Chief at Folio Art & Literary Magazine.

Aunt Flow is an organization dedicated to providing freely accessible tampons and pads in bathrooms of businesses and schools. In their role, Genevieve educates potential clients about Aunt Flow's solutions and helps them implement the company's products.

Genevieve Jaser pursued their education from 2017 to 2021 at Southern Connecticut State University. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English & Communication and a concentration in Creative Writing. In addition to their formal degree, Genevieve has also acquired various certifications. In April 2019, they received Level 2 CRLA certification from the College Reading & Learning Association. Additionally, in the same month, they received the Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for their work in Crescent Magazine. More recently, in February 2022, they completed the Sales Foundations certification from LinkedIn, followed by the Thriving @ Work: Leveraging the Connection between Well-Being and Productivity certification in May 2022, also obtained from LinkedIn.
