Chip Hultman

A seasoned senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in the financial operations of companies in the telecommunications sector, Chip Hultman serves as AURA’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, internal controls, revenue assurance, and procurement.

Since his tenure at MCI Communications in the mid-1990s, Chip has held accounting and finance positions for several companies offering data protection and connectivity solutions to both consumers and businesses across the U.S. He was a director in finance and reporting/analysis divisions at OneMain.com during the period that the company was purchased by leading internet-service provider EarthLink.

Chip later joined OTA Broadcasting and served as its CFO, overseeing accounting and finance for 22 television stations – with several becoming successful bidders in Federal Communications Commission (FCC) spectrum auctions. He was able to utilize that experience in his CFO role for the C-Band Alliance, an industry consortium of four major satellite operators committed to clearing hundreds of megahertz of spectrum to advance 5G wireless deployment throughout the country.

Chip joined AURA’s leadership team in April 2020. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he received a BA in Finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
