Erik Weiss

Erik Weiss is an accomplished professional in quality management and operational excellence within the truck and bus industry. Currently serving as the Director of Quality for America's Region at SAF-HOLLAND Inc., Erik oversees 13 manufacturing sites and six distribution centers. Previous roles include Director of Quality and Plant Manager at Haldex, where responsibilities included leading a large workforce and managing plant closure processes. Erik's expertise extends to operations management at Amazon and plant management at Tenneco, where comprehensive oversight of operations, finance, and quality was key. A seasoned leader in Lean methodologies, Erik has demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives throughout various organizations. Erik holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and an M.B.A. from the Indiana Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Technology from Bowling Green State University, and an Associate of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Rhodes State College, where Erik also served as an adjunct instructor.
