Andrew Stern

Andrew Stern began their professional career in 1994 as a Regional Manager for The Advisory Board Company. In 1995, they moved on to become Vice President of Operations for The Olympus Group. In 1997, they co-founded and became President of LOGEX, a division of Appnet. In 2000, they founded VenCatalyst, the first technology incubator in the DC-Metro area, and successfully raised Series A and developed numerous portfolio companies. The company was acquired by Idealab in 2009. In the same year, they founded Serin Capital, an opportunistic investor focused on retail, food and consumer products. Finally, in 2003, they became the CEO of Aurify Brands, a next generation hospitality group based in New York City.

Andrew Stern attended The Haverford School from 1986 to 1989, Detroit Country Day School prior to that, and Vanderbilt University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a BA.
