Helene Carlson

Helene Carlson has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Helene is currently serving as the Head of Communications & Public Affairs at Aurobay (Powertrain Engineering Sweden AB) since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Volvo Cars as the Head of Communications & Public Affairs - Powertrain Engineering Sweden AB from February 2021 to July 2021. From 2017 to 2021, Helene worked at Opus as the Director of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, where they were responsible for internal and external communications, investor relations, media relations, and sustainability communications. Before that, they held the position of Head of Global Marketing and Communications at XVIVO Perfusion AB from January 2017 to August 2017. From 2007 to 2016, Helene worked at Mölnlycke Health Care in various roles, including Director Corporate Communications, Director Global Marketing Communications, and Marketing Communications Manager. Helene also gained experience in international marketing and sales at Business Sweden and Realia Business, and served as an International Business Developer at Omegatranslator.

Helene Carlson began their education in 1997 at the University of Sussex, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Following this, from 1998 to 2003, they attended the University of Gothenburg and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Marketing Communication and Media Studies. In 2000 and 2001, they also studied at Leeds Beckett University, earning a Master of Arts degree with a focus on Marketing, PR & IR. Finally, in 2009 and 2010, Helene furthered their education at the IHM Business School, specializing in Growth & Marketing Strategy by completing the IHM Strategic Marketing Certificate program.
