Sören Jansson has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Sören is currently serving as the Director Global Plant Design and Manufacturing Engineering at Aurobay (Powertrain Engineering Sweden AB) since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Volvo Car Sverige as the Director Global Product and Process Engineering, ME PS from November 2020 to October 2021, and as the Director ME PS Realization EMEA from December 2015 to November 2020. Before joining Volvo Car Sverige, Sören was the Manager of the Business Unit Technical Service and Maintenance at Elektroautomatik from March 2014 to December 2015.
Sören Jansson began their education at the University of Skövde in 1992, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. Sören then transferred to Luleå University of Technology in 1995 and earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the field of study of Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
After completing their Master's degree, Sören attended IHM Business School in 2012. During their time there, they pursued two different degrees. Sören first studied Business Management in 2012 and then pursued Operations Management from 2012 to 2013.
In 2013, Sören briefly attended the European Federation of National Maintenance, where they earned a certification in Certified European Maintenance Manager.
Overall, Sören Jansson's education history includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, two degrees from IHM Business School (Business Management and Operations Management), and a certification from the European Federation of National Maintenance.
