Chris Guiffre has a strong background in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Chris is currently working as the President & COO at Auron Therapeutics starting from July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the CFO & COO at Pear Therapeutics from December 2017 to July 2023. Chris also held the positions of President & CEO at Cerulean Pharma, Inc from March 2015 to July 2017, COO at Cerulean Pharma, Inc from 2014 to 2015, CBO at Cerulean Pharma, Inc from 2012 to 2014, President & CEO at Alvos Therapeutics from 2010 to 2012, Chief Business Officer at Hydra Biosciences in 2008, SVP, GC & Secretary at Cubist Pharmaceuticals from 2001 to 2008, and VP, GC & Clerk at Renaissance Worldwide from 1997 to 2001.

Chris Guiffre earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College in 1990. Chris then went on to attend Boston College Law School from 1993 to 1995, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Later, from 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
