Alexis Lanzet has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Health Policy Assistant for the U.S. Senate Committee for Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of Investment Research Analyst at Light Green Advisors. From 2009 to 2010, Alexis served as a Business Plan Intern for the U.S. National Park Service.
After completing their MBA, Alexis joined the Centre for Sustainability and Social Innovation at the Sauder School of Business, UBC as a Graduate Fellow, focusing on a project about industrial land use in Vancouver. Alexis then became a Teaching Assistant at the Sauder School of Business from 2011 to 2012.
In 2012, Alexis joined CHC as an Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis, before moving on to BroadbandTV (BBTV) in 2015. At BBTV, they held the positions of Financial Analyst and later Finance Manager.
Most recently, Alexis joined Aurora Cannabis Inc. in 2018. Alexis started as Manager, Corporate Planning and later became Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. Alexis then served as Chief of Staff, Office of the CEO, before assuming their current role as Vice President, Strategic Finance.
Alexis Lanzet holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Dartmouth College, obtained between 2002 and 2005. In 2010, Lanzet completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Management at The University of British Columbia, following a one-semester exchange program at Copenhagen Business School, where they focused on Sustainability and Innovation, Development Economics in 2009. In 2014, Lanzet obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from CMA British Columbia. Additionally, Lanzet holds a high school diploma from Marymount, acquired between 1998 and 2002.
