Mike Aitken

Mike Aitken is an experienced technical lead and software engineer currently employed at Aurora since January 2021. Previously, Mike held various roles at Uber Advanced Technologies Group from June 2015 to January 2021, including Autonomy Software Engineer and Technical Lead Manager. Before that, Mike worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Netronome Systems from February 2011 to May 2015 and served as a Business Analyst at The Cyest Corporation from March 2010 to January 2011. Earlier experience includes working as a Packet Core Engineer at Ericsson and completing master's studies at the Centre for High Performance Computing and the Square Kilometer Array project. Mike holds an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering and a B.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the University of Cape Town.
