Kathy Thurman

Kathy Thurman is a skilled professional with extensive experience in computer-aided design and drafting. Currently serving as a Computer Aided Design Drafter and Structural Designer at Austal USA since May 2022, Kathy previously held the position of CAD Designer at Remington College and worked as a CAD Designer at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. from August 2016 to July 2022. Earlier in the career, Kathy was employed as a Quality Control Clerk at Performance Contractors, responsible for constructing Turnover Packages, tracking concrete pours, and coordinating with engineers. Kathy's career began at the Mississippi Department of Corrections, where responsibilities included interviewing offenders, classifying them, and managing monthly reports. Kathy holds a degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design from Remington College, completed between 2015 and 2016, and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College from 2010 to 2011.
