Heidi Rushing

Heidi Rushing is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Austin College since August 2008, with previous roles including Associate Director of Marketing and Public Affairs and Public Affairs Marketing Specialist. Rushing also taught as an Adjunct Instructor in the College of Media and Communication at Texas Tech University for a semester in late 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Ghost Town Arts Collective from September 2006 to January 2018. Rushing holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication & Innovation from Texas Tech University (2020-2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Art and English from Austin College (2000-2004).
