Misty Whited

Misty Whited is the Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Austin Community Foundation, a position held since October 2017. Prior to this role, Misty served as an Account Supervisor at Elizabeth Christian Public Relations, managing public relations for clients such as St. David's HealthCare and the City of Waco. Previous positions include Marketing and Communications Manager at Thinkery, where strategic marketing efforts supported a nonprofit organization, Communications Specialist at Capital Metro, and Press Secretary to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Misty's career also includes experience as a Producer at News 8 Austin. Misty holds a BA in Print Journalism from Texas State University, completed in 2003.
