Amy Marie Halsell

Amy Marie Halsell has a diverse background in security and dispatch roles, currently serving as the Juvenile Probation Security Center Coordinator at Gardner Betts Juvenile Center since October 2023, following a tenure as Security Center Coordinator at Travis County beginning in February 2020. Amy has extensive experience in emergency services, demonstrating expertise as a Dispatcher at the Austin Convention Center and previously at the Austin ISD Police Department. Additionally, Amy has held positions as a Police Dispatcher and as a CSCD Supervisor for Travis County, overseeing adult probationers. Early career experience includes a role as a Back-Up Specialist at Abbott Laboratories. Amy pursued studies in Criminal Justice at Austin Community College from 2005 to 2006.
