Sylba Everett

Sylba Everett currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer at the Austin Convention Center since April 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure at the City of Austin from October 2014 to April 2024, also as Chief Administrative Officer and in various roles within the Human Resources Department, including Municipal Civil Service Administrator and Municipal Civil Service Coordinator. Prior to that, Sylba worked at Austin Resource Recovery from November 2009 to October 2014, holding positions such as Waste Diversion Planner Senior, Program Specialist, and Department Executive Assistant. Sylba Everett earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Arizona between 2002 and 2005.
