Mateo García Olazábal

Mateo García Olazábal is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Texas State University since January 2022, following the role of Scientific Researcher at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from July 2018 to April 2021. Prior to these positions, Mateo served as a Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University from August 2016 to June 2018 and at Universidad de la República Facultad de Ciencias from March 2014 to December 2015. Mateo holds a Doctorate in Biology with a focus on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Texas A&M University, completed in December 2021, a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Universidad de la República earned in 2015, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad de la República awarded in 2012. Additionally, Mateo has pursued a Bachelor's degree in Spanish-English Translation from Universidad de la República since 2010.
