Bill Schappert

Bill Schappert has extensive experience in the explosives industry, currently serving as a Sales/Technical Representative at Austin Powder Company since August 1990. Notable projects include the Rondout-West Branch Bypass Tunnel, Second Avenue Subway, East Side Access, 7-Line Extension, Croton Water Filtration Plant, and NYC Water Tunnel No. 3, as well as work with numerous mines and stone quarries throughout Southern New England and Eastern New York State. Prior to this role, Bill Schappert held positions as Location Manager at St. Lawrence Explosives and Blaster at Danbury Explosives Company. Bill Schappert earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Central Connecticut State University from 1981 to 1985.
