Gemma Borja PT, MBA, CPHQ has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Gemma is currently the Vice President of Population Health & Clinical Quality at Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Managing Consultant at Point B from August 2019 to June 2021. Gemma also served as the Division Director of Quality Improvement at HCA Central West Texas (St. David's HealthCare and Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare) and as the Senior Director of Clinical Excellence Performance Improvement from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they held the position of Director of Clinical Integration & Care Management Seton ACO at Seton Healthcare Family from 2015 to 2016. Gemma's experience also includes working as the Clinical Director at Charles B. Wang Community Health Center from 2013 to 2015, and as the Clinical Performance Manager at Weill Cornell Medicine from 2010 to 2013. Gemma began their career as a Physical Therapist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital from 2007 to 2010, and at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn from 2004 to 2007.

Gemma Borja PT, MBA, CPHQ has an extensive education history. Gemma obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health Science from Boston University from 1998 to 2002. Gemma then pursued further education in the field of Physical Therapy and earned their Masters of Science degree from Boston University between 2002 and 2004.

In 2006, Gemma joined the Baruch/Mt.Sinai Graduate MBA Program in Health Care Administration, where they specialized in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Gemma successfully completed the program and was awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2009.

In addition to their academic achievements, Gemma has also obtained a significant certification in the healthcare sector. In October 2014, they became a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) through the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
