Angela Johnson

Angela Johnson, SHRM-CP, serves as the Human Resources Director at Greater Austin Merchant's Cooperative Association and has been involved with Austin SHRM as VP of Certification since January 2023. With extensive experience in various HR roles, Angela has worked as a Human Resources Manager at Greater Austin Merchant's Cooperative Association and previously held positions including Office Manager at Environmental Systems Corporation and Human Resources Generalist II. Angela has demonstrated expertise in recruitment strategies, employee benefits administration, and organizational policy maintenance. Additional experience includes serving as Secretary and Communications Chair for AA-NSBE, Office Manager/HR Assistant at Maryland Crime Victims Resource Center, and owning At Your Service Catering and Cleaning, where comprehensive HR functions were managed. Angela holds educational qualifications from Austin Community College and Stephen F. Austin State University in Law and Finance.
