George Pitakoe

George Pitakoe is an experienced professional in partnership facilitation, youth development, and reproductive health advocacy. Currently serving as Partnership and Coalition Facilitator at Australia Pacific Training Coalition since February 2020, George has also worked as a part-time tutor at Solomon Islands National University and held various leadership roles at Solomon Islands Planned Parenthood Association, including Executive Director and Programme Manager. Previous positions include Youth and Governance Programme Manager at Oxfam and Senior Capacity Building Officer at Development Services Exchange. George's educational background includes a Master of Social Work from RMIT University, a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Victoria University, and a Diploma in Youth & Development Work. Additionally, George is an Accredited Partnership Broker and holds a Graduate Diploma in Not-for-Profit Management from Unitec.
