Timothy Walters

Timothy Walters has extensive experience in the IT industry, working in various roles for different companies. Timothy began their career in 2010 as an Information Technology Infrastructure Analyst at Rio Tinto, where they conducted technical analysis and ensured the security of major IT infrastructure projects. Timothy then joined TSA Corporation as a Senior Information Technology System Administrator and acted as the National IT Support Team Leader, managing and mentoring junior staff members and delivering infrastructure upgrades for clients. In 2012, they founded their own company, Virtuoso IT Networks Pty Ltd., providing IT infrastructure consultancy services. Timothy later worked at Cymax Pty Ltd as a Senior Information Technology System Administrator, providing IT support services for clients and directing maintenance of server and network infrastructure. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Senior Information Technology System Administrator at FSG Australia, overseeing infrastructure design and leading cross-functional IT projects. Timothy then joined Queensland Health as a Senior Information Technology Consultant, contributing to the finalization of server build processes and providing technical advice to stakeholders. In 2017, they joined Virtual IT Managed Services as a Senior Information Technology Consultant, delivering senior-level technical support and managing IT projects for clients. Timothy moved on to Mercy Community, where they took on the role of IT Service Delivery Team Lead and later became a Senior Systems Administrator. In these roles, they ensured system availability, led a team, and contributed to strategic planning. Most recently, they worked at Mangano IT as a Level 3 Service Delivery professional, handling ticket escalations and providing technical leadership and account management for key customers. Timothy is currently working as an IT Infrastructure Engineer at AACo.

Timothy Walters completed their Bachelor of Business Computing degree in Information Technology from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 1986 and 1993. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1985, they attended St Josephs College Nudgee, but there is no mention of a degree or field of study obtained from there. Additionally, Timothy obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in January 2022.
